Sonic marches to the beat of his own drum, however, has a very broad sense of good vs evil when push comes to shove. I think this is where Sonic starts to stand apart in his subverse as just a generic replacer for Aether/Lumine, setting aside his Dvalin/Mirror Maiden boss fight redesigns of course. Silent protagonists that don’t super get a specific say in the movement of the story (ala FNV and other sorts of rpgs like that), I always view as True Neutral. Honestly, I’m of a firm believer that Aether/Lumine are true neutral.
